The annual “Picnic at Hanging Rock” is organised by the Macedon Ranges and District Motor Club Inc. (MRADMC).
Please note that, effective from the 2012 event, only vehicles 25 years and older will be permitted to be displayed at the “Picnic at Hanging Rock” event.
Vehicles pre-1987 will enter the event via the main gate, whilst vehicles 1987 and later will enter via the general parking gate. These conditions of entry align the “Picnic” with other classic car shows.
Car Clubs attending the event as a group should note that all vehicles must meet the conditions to enter the display areas.
Conditions of Entry
- MRADMC reserve the right to restrict entry to the Hanging Rock Reserve of any person or vehicle for any reason.
- An entry fee is payable for each vehicle entering the Hanging Rock Reserve, including vehicles on trailers.
- Vehicles entering Hanging Rock Reserve are to park as directed by officials
- Vehicle movements within Hanging Rock Reserve are to be kept to a minimum to reduce safety hazards and dust nuisance.
- Only vehicles 25 years or older are eligible for access to the Display areas.
- Unauthorised commercial activities, including car boot sales, are NOT permitted.
- Vehicles within Hanging Rock Reserve that are advertised for sale must be either registered, club permitted or have the prior approval of the organisers.
- Fire restrictions must be observed at ALL times.
